Do animals have right? They certainly do. The Indian Constitution recognizes the rights and needs of domestic as well as wild animals. Did you know- according to the Prevention of Cruelty Act of 1960, it is illegal to chain or enclose any animal for unnaturally long stretches of time? Yet this is being done thoughtlessly in many households across the nation.
